The firm was originally established by Ricardo A. Durling in 1962. As the firm expanded in subsequent years, his brother Luis A. Durling joined and the name was change to Durling & Durling in 1973. Currently, the firm has eight lawyers and a supporting legal staff of four. The practice also employs a clerical staff of about fifteen. All lawyers and personnel are fluent on English.
Durling & Durling engages in General and International law practice. It has considerable experience in Corporate, Maritime, International Business, and in Trademarks and Intellectual Property matters.
Durling & Durling is a member of the Panama Bar Associations, the International Lawyers Associations, the American Chamber of Commerce, the Panama Chamber of Commerce and the International Trademark Association.
